MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – January 9, 2006 6:15 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., James Deming and Wesley Greene, II
Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted.
The Board received an informational letter from Franklin Regional Council of Governments informing all towns with paper ballot systems that they will have to accept one electronic voting machine. The system will need to be in place for the 2006 state elections. The Town will be responsible, however, for maintaining and programming the system each time it is used. The Selectmen will be watching for additional information and has no interest, in changing our present voting system.
The Board of Selectmen will be meeting with The Finance Committee at 6:30PM to discuss the halfway point of the Fiscal and start preparing for the upcoming Fiscal 07 budgets.
